It is much cheaper to rent a car. There are many firms to choose from and this is a commonly discussed topic.

 

There are familiar franchise names like Avis, Budget, Dollar, and Thrifty. There are reputable local firms such as Coconut, Economy, Marshall's, and Andy's among many others.

No. Most are near the airport or else have offices along Seven Mile Beach.

 

Cayman Auto Rentals is the only car rental company within easy walking distance of the docks. Some of the other companies will arrange to pick you up downtown and then take you to their office to rent the car.
