HoJo Posted January 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2008 My husband and I will be traveling with our 2 and a half year-old son on Carnival Liberty in Feb. Are there any day excursions that would be appropriate for a young child?
sugarsmacks Posted January 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2008 Not to much to do in Costa Rica with small kids. We just got back a few weeks ago. Half of our group went water rafting and the other half (with a 6month,4yr,and 6yr) went on a pontoon ride thru the tortuguero canal. They saw lots of sloths, monkeys, and birds. Then they went to a local beach. Be aware, that the beaches there are more for surfing. Strong currants and waves but the kids enjoyed playing in the sand. I believe the name of the beach is Bonita.
