Going back to Alaska

I cannot tell you anything about your cabin, but the Golden Princess is a beautiful ship. We were on her to go to the Mex. Riv last April(10 days) out of SF. Our favorite spots were the aft pool looking out at the wake and the indoor/outdoor pool(retractable roof). Both were great to relax and and read a book.

We will also be doing the Alaska itinerary out of Seattle on the Golden on May31.

Disney, I also read a lot of reviews on ships that I plan to cruise on. Some I take with a grain of salt. There have been some that say whatever ship is horrible, they will never cruise again on it, and when I go on it I had a fantastic time. So go on the Golden and have a marvelous time. I also like the Coral. My very favorite ship of the bunch.

Emerald 203 is at the very bow of the ship, stateroom wise. If you are prone to motion sickness, you will notice the movement of the ship there more than anywhere else. And, it is a fact that you will have rough seas the first and last nights out from Seattle, in the neighborhood of the Queen Charlotte Sound area. Other than that, good category stateroom, roomy and comfortable.
