landj4always Posted January 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Hi everyone, making last minute decisions about which itinerary to book, looking for excursions with waterfalls, not dunns river size more in the jungle or rainforest type. Maybe ones you could possibly get wet in, one with horseback riding or atv type tours would be great. Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions. Will also post in roatan, belize, cozumel, and grand cayman those are possible itinerary stops also. Going in Dec
whale-watcher Posted January 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2008 We took a private tour to a place called Cranbrook Flower farm with Barrett Adventures. There was a great hiking trail along a river through the jungle, and it ended at a beautiful waterfall with a nice swimming area at the bottom. There were almost no other people there, and it was beautiful!

Geckospot Posted January 23, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Ooh waterfalls are soo amazing. I really want to check out Jamaica soon, but the best falls I saw were in South America at Iguazu Falls - 72 waterfalls split between 2 countries...wow. good luck finding those waterfall beauties. CoughEQueen Posted January 24, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2008 We also booked through Barrett Adventures, but we did YS Falls and a boat ride on the Black River on the Southern Coast. They picked us up at the pier in Mo'bay. It took about 2 hours to get to the southern coast but the falls were worth it...very secluded, very beautiful....you could swim at all levels of the falls and at the top/last falls they had a rope swing. http://www.ysfalls.com/
