WHERE to start in Old San Juan?

Spending one night pre-cruise in San Juan. We're looking to enjoy some nightlife and dine in Old San Juan. I imagine we would be heading there around 7pm or later. Where do we tell the cab driver to drop us off? Looking for some restaurant choices and a few bars we can check out for the night.

Where do we start?

Good set of restaurants in Fortazela street - Parrot Club, Tantra, DragonFly + others

Another option is at teh Old banco Popular building near the cruise ships. Here you could go to Carli's (especially if you liek jazz - check fisrt to see who's playing). The micro brewery is also close to here.

Another option is El Convento hotel - try some tapas and then wander to any of the above places

enjoy Coqui @ www.visit-the-coqui.com (my blog about PR)
