How good does the Dawn look here. A friend (fellow CCer) took this for us from a web cam of us arriving home on 18th January. I thought others on board that day might be interested.:)

No we didn't get to do one either - I didn't even realise you could request it until it was too late:(

They told us that they no longer do bridge tours because of increased security measures. Having said that we do know of a certain CC member who did get a tour of the brdge as we were leaving Villa...:mad: maybe you need to be in a mini-suite or better to be considered;)

Don, were you told this on board or by call centre staff in Sydney??

 

They were doing them on Pacific Star in September..

 

We had to put a request in writing to the Captain once on board - through the purser's desk. And a then we received a letter saying to meet security staff outside the entrance to the bridge on Deck 10 at a certain time. Two groups of about 14 people each did the tour.

 

 

I guess in the end it's up to the discretion of the Captain.

No bridge tours on the Dawns 18th jan cruise just one on the tv and was told that no more bridge tours will be allowed even for suite guests.

I think the captain and his immediate crew (all Italian) dont really like Aussies,they seem have the social skills of a bannana:D Although they do like to blow the horn:eek: And it is loud!

Saw a bridge tour in progress on Dawn on the Jan 8th cruise.

Must agree that the captain is not a very friendly soul:)

re Captain also a man of few words.

At the Captains Club or what ever it is called we usually get some information on future plans for cruising but this one said little and nothing.
