cruisin'sz Posted January 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2008 If anyone has flown Continental from Newark to Honolulu, plese let me know if you're served one or two meals and if each seat has a private tv/movie screen or not. Thanks
BDL Posted January 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2008 The meal or meals served would show on the Continental web site. It depends on what time of day, if there are stops, etc. Your reservation should show the type of plane. One site to check is www.seatguru.com That site will show the inflight entertainment on your particular plane. Seatguru also shows you what seats are best, which don't recline, etc.. For example, checking on Continental, there is one non stop that leaves Newark at 1:20 PM and serves lunch (says this in the last column to the right.) Hard to beleive on an 11 hour flight you only get one meal, so you may want to call them and ask. Its a 767-400 and on Seatguru it says that plane has personal lcd screens at each seat. You can probably find on the Continental site what movies are showing depending on when you're traveling. They usually have the current and next month's on line. lovesublime Posted January 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2008 Well, we didn't fly from Neward. We flew from Houston to HNL and were served twice. I believe we were first served something very light-something like a half sandwich. Later we got something more substantial. On our return, we got dinner intially and breakfast items just before we landed. Your plane will most likely be a 767 and everyone will have their own video screen.
