Splendour - port trips in eastern mediterranean?

Hi All-

We are going on Splendour of the Seas to the greek isles in September - has anyone been? Do you have recommendations for trips or things to do at the ports?

There are 3 or 4 of us discussing Eastern vs Western Mediterranean cruises and ports-of-call over on the CC "Cruise Discussion Topic-First Time Cruisers" Board right now!

 

There are some really cool photos from folks who have done Venice, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Sardinia, Rome, Malta, Gibraltar, etc, etc.

 

I've got some great Caribbean and European land trip photos, too...esp those of the Amalfi Coast, Italy!

 

The folks here are great...I'm sure someone will respond directly about Greece :D
