Dinning Room

How is the food in the dinning room. I know this depends on what you like. But how does it work do you get to pick from a list of things or is it just one thing for that night. I'm very picky and I don't eat any seafood. We will be on the Navigator in March.

Yes. If you look around, you'll find some menus posted on this board (or maybe someone has a link handy to one of the threads. In general, though, you'll have your choice of several appetizers, a couple salads, and something like five or six entrees. The entrees usually include at least one each of beef, poultry, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Plus, there is a list of off-menu things that are always available, like simple grilled chicken or steak and a couple other things.

You can order more than one of any entree or appetizer. If you don't know if you are going to like something, but want to try it, order that along with another entree. The waiters will bring you anything that you like. I am Italian and love a side of macaroni with almost every meal. Whatever pasta dish they are having that night, you can get just the pasta with marinara sauce. I always order a side of that with my meals. The waiters are very accomodating. You should have no problems finding something to enjoy every night.

I think the food often gets a bad rap, because we've always found it excellent! I am also a picky eater, and usually order the pasta each evening. Sometimes I make a meal out of serveral appetizers, soup and salad if I am not crazy about the entrees.
