Coral - Alaska - Cell Phone

We will be on the Coral July 21 and I wonder if anyone knows about cell phone reception. I have Verizon. I am leaving my young daughter with sever food allergies to go on my honeymoon. I am afraid to be 'out of reach'.

 

Also, what about other parts of Alaska. We are doing the cruise/tour to Prudoe Bay and back down. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I would even switch services if I could get better reception. I have never really 'left' her. Having a lot of mom guilt about being so far away!

We were on the Coral last June and I also have Verizon. We had excellent service in every port. I never tried while at sea.
