QM-First Day Questions

Need your help again...I plan to board QM2 in NYC between 1 and 2 pm. on 2/15. Do you think that the cabins will be ready to occupy at that time? Also, what time does your luggage usually arrive? Not sure if I should just wear my dinner clothes onboard, or if the luggage would be there by late seating so I can freshly change later on. Your thoughts would be appreciated. (I'm a little concerned because on my last cruise...luggage didn't arrive until 10:30 pm!)

As always, thanks for your assistance...

We were able to go directly to our stateroom when we boarded. Some of our luggage was there but the last one didn't show up until around 4pm. You should have plenty of time to change for dinner.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy Mary.

If it would contribute to your peace of mind you could put your evening clothes in your carry on bag, but the luggage will be in your cabin in plenty of time.

Your cabin will be ready by the time you arrive, too. Last time we went on the Mary people were still leaving at just before noon (!), but we were in our cabins by around 12:30, after a brief wait in the lounge. What a lot of slowpokes on the previous voyage!
