Another EEE w/ Henry tour question!

If I book with Henry for a private tour, will he do what we want or will we be held to what he prefers? Please give me some insight as I really want to book a private tour, rather than hire different taxi's to take us to the places. I really just want a van large enough for 8 people and some one to take us to 2 different beaches near each other and lunch and scenic photo stops as well as charlotee amelia for shopping. We really do not want to sit in a van for hours driving and seeing things that way. Does that make sense? Please advise as quickly as possible!

Laura,

We booked a private tour with Henry in December of 06 because we all had different things we wanted to do in St. Thomas. Henry was able to accomodate our family of four - my daughter was able to ride the tram at Paradise Point and shop at the flea market, my son was able to jet-ski at Coki Beach and my husband was able to shop for alcohol. I let Henry know beforehand what was important for us to see & was open to letting him decide the rest. He gave us a very informative tour of the island, driving us by many sights and stopping for pictures. The tour was a highlight of our cruise that my kids still talk about.

I think if you communicate with him in advance and book a private tour, you will be very happy with Henry.

We were in an open-air bus, but am not sure what Henry is using now. It was fun riding by the packed ones when there were only 4 of us on Henry's, with my daughter always having her own row.:)

We were just with Henry on 1-15-08 and had a great time! We did a private tour for our group of 9. Henry will take your requests and work with you in planning a great time. We were not planning on doing a ton of shopping and wanted more of an island tour for our group as well as some snorkeling. We loved riding in his open air vehicle, better pictures this way if you don't want to get out at every stop, plus the fresh air was wonderful. He is very knowledgable when it comes to history, plants, etc. and you learn a lot. If you don't want a long tour of the island just let him know in advance. We had planned on Coki beach but after Henry drove to it we decided Sapphire might be a better choice for our group. It is a wonderful beach and we had a great time snorkeling, laying out, and watching the iguanas. We were there for 2 hours and it seemed to fly by very quick.
