c2c4fun Posted January 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2008 This hotel is located on Robson St downtown Vancouver. Can anyone give me their thoughts on this hotel? Thanks!
Healthynut Posted January 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2008 It's fine for an overnight pre/post cruise. Mid range hotel so if you get a mid range price you will be happy. Great eggs benny for breakfast and very central.
Retired 07 Posted January 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2008 We stayed there for 2 nights pre-cruise this past May, and loved it. We were on the 24th or 26th floor, over Robson St, and the view was fantastic. The location couldn't be beat, and the front desk was extremely helpful. Also, reasonably priced for the area. Would definitely stay there again. Hopes this helps.
BCHappyGal Posted January 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2008 An older hotel in a good location very central to shopping and restaurants on popular Robson Street. I would consider it a mid range hotel about 3*. Haven't stayed in this hotel in over 30 years.
smitty3000 Posted January 31, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2008 Is the Pacific Palisades about the same as the Blue Horizon? I liked the rooms on the website for Blue Horizon but won the Pacifici Palisades on Priceline. I know they don't look the same but are they about the same as far everything else goes. Which one is better if at all? Thanks:)
trixi Posted March 10, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2008 Stayed here a couple of years ago. The room was great, every room is a corner room. I loved all of the windows. As previous posters have mentioned if you are on upper floors the view is fantastic. I would stay here again.
