mangrove clear kayaking in grand turk

Hello. I did this last year for new years on Noordam. This is a casual paddle along a channel with the trees on either side. Then we get out to a pond area and are free to paddle for say 20 minutes. Guide was cute college age girl who told us a bit about the trees and surroundings. The area was full of jellyfish, but so long as you don't plan to tip over all is well. The boats are the sit in kind rather than the sea type sit on, so you stay drier. The one negative was there were several sandbars and we had to pull some of the heavier loaded boats across. But I bet the move around with the tide. And with this one you start and end at a dock. No need to fight through the surf.

It was a decent event in calm water. I've taken the kayak in Dominica, which can be rough and challenging if the wind is active, and St. Kitts which was fine the 1 time I did so. This was much less effort.
