Advice on shore excursion

Hi There,

I have a question about shore excursions in Grand Cayman. I am a woman traveling alone with my 7 year old daughter.

In reading the reviews, it seems that the Nativeways RRR is the favorite, but I feel a little guilty about not doing the turtle farm and hell thing with the kid. So I'm looking for some input-

  • Are the turtle farm and hell experience "can't be missed" for kids? Or can I do the RRR and then just grab a postcard of hell at the pier?
  • Is there time to take a taxi to Hell after RRR?
  • In regards to the snorkeling part of RRR, my daughter takes weekly swim lessons, but is it safe for a kid? Meaning- could she stand in the water and rest or snorkel with a lifevest in case she gets tired treading water? I'm not sure how long she could tread without touching ground or hanging onto something.
  • Finally, Nativeways is not one of the companies the cruise line uses? Are there really less people on the boats?

Thanks!

Jessica
