Jamieva Posted February 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Okay, I admit it, I'm addicted to caffeine... Diet Mt. Dew to be exact. What type of soft drinks do they serve on RCCL? Sorry, Simmons, they serve Coke products (on the Mariner at least). So you won't be able to "Do the Dew" :-(

KarinaGW Posted February 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2008 RCCL is a Coke product line, so no MD. But, they don't stop sodas being brought on board, so you could bring your own stash.

wrp96 Posted February 6, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2008 They do have Diet Sprite in the cans. Sometimes you can't find it in all the bars on the ship though. I've had the best luck getting Diet Sprites in the dining room and in the Schooner Bar. I've occasionally seen ginger ale, but I don't remember what brand, and it is definitely less available than even the Diet Sprite. Generally what I've seen available is: Fountain drinks - Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, club soda, and I think there was another choice I'm forgetting at the moment Cans - Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Diet Sprite Remember if you plan on getting a soda card that you only get fountain drinks with the soda card. California4Me4Ever Posted February 6, 2008 #9 Share Posted February 6, 2008 How much is too much of your own soda to bring on board? :) And how many cans or bottles can the in-room refrigerator hold? Would a 2 liter bottle fit? Like to OP, I like a diet soda that isn't available anywhere in a fountain and want to have my soda fix during my vacation. It will also make DH happy to not have to pay for a soda card! Happy Sails!
fpcruiser Posted February 6, 2008 #10 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I always purchase the soda card. I was able to get diet Sprite at Schooner and also from the casino bar. They just poured it into a cup with no charge. Maybe they charge you if you ask to have the can. I usually used the cup they give you when you get the soda card. It used most of the can.
