RadFamily Posted February 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Any have experience with MSC's Kids Club? We are considering a June 2008 Baltic sailing on the Opera, but as we have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, we would be making use of the kids club. Any info you have would be appreciated. TIA! cruisewith2kids Posted February 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2008 We were on the MSC Orchestra in late October 2007--Eastern Med. Prior to getting on the ship, there is really no information on the kid's club. The youngest age for the kid's club was three. Most of the kids on board are Italian so very few kids will speak English but all of the staff will speak English. When we boarded the ship in Venice, we were given a brochure with the daily kid's club opening times and activities for the entire cruise. Generally, the club was open throughout the day but closed from about 6-8pm. and then re-opened until about 10 pm. There is no in cabin babysitting offered. The kid's club was open during shore excursions. You can leave your child in the club and go on an excursion without them. This can be helpful if there is an excursion that involves going somewhere that the children will not enjoy. There was a children's menu in the dining room. If you take the kids on shore excursions, bring snacks and water. We went on excursions where there was not enough time to eat lunch prior to returning to the boat. I was glad that I had cereal bars and baggies of cold cereal to feed them on the bus rides back to the ship.
