What part of Vancouver?

Recommended Posts

Ballantyne Pier is a couple of miles East of Downtown. You should still be looking for a hotel in Downtown Vancouver. There is nothing upscale or fancy near Ballantyne, it is an industrial area with no abundance of amenities.

All the best,

Mike

Hi, I am sailing from Ballantyne pier.

When looking for a hotel near there, what part of Vancouver should I be looking in? ( North Vancouver, Delta, etc...)

Thanks!

This should help you get a better idea. North Vancouver and Delta are not particularly close to Ballantyne.

Although that 1st port map is a little odd, obviously not done by a local as Surrey and Delta are swapped, and Hwy 99a is mis-marked, but you'll get the general idea.

Another location you might find a little cheaper than the downtown core is the Broadway (Hwy7) corridor between Cambie and Granville.

What did you want to do while you were in town, and how will you be getting around? That will also influence your choice. If youhave a car, most hotels downtown charge for parking $5-10/day, so factor that in as well.
