Spirit Entertainment

We're scheduled for the 12/3 sailing to the Southern Caribbean. Just wondering what the entertainment options were on the Spirit? How were the production shows and entertainers? The Caribbean sailings are for nine days so I would imagine NCL will need to add a couple of more options.

We were on the 8/21 Spirit to Alaska. I'm not sure if they keep the same acts all the time. We saw a NCL Production that was a medley of broadway musical acts. We really enjoyed it. We also saw Jane Powell, who was very good. The director of the musicians is a very good pianist, too. I think the NCL production crew will be the same, but am not sure if Jane Powell will be doing a show on the Spirit then.

We were on the Spirit 8/7 to Alaska. The entertainment consisted of review type shows, Jane Powell, a passenger talent show, a wonderful crew talent show and a fantastic singing quartet in Champagne Charlie's Lounge. All the entertainment was good. I'm not at all sure who will be on the ship as it goes to the Caribbean. We were so happy with the Spirit that we booked her again to go the S. Caribben in March. We're really hoping that the quartet, The Love Brothers & Lira, are still there because we really enjoyed them so much. In fact, I'd appreciate your doing me a favor if they are on the ship. They take requests. Please ask them to sing a Bobby Vinton song and tell them that their friends from the 8/7 cuise to Alaska is still requesting his songs. Tell them we'll be there on March 4th. Hey Phoenix, for you anything. Be happy to check & deliver your message. I remember Jane Powell from our NCL Sun cruise. She was great and it would be nice to have her back in December.

I checked Jane Powell's web site after reading another post about the Spririt's entertainment. Unluckily for those of us sailing the Spirit, it looks as if she is scheduled to be on the Dawn this fall.
