Beware of Hertz!

Well- I called Antigua today just to confirm my reservation for next week- lo and behold- nope- no reservation on file and no more cars left that I requested! I had the confirmation in my hand after booking online with Hertz months ago. I called Hertz and apparently they never "requested" the vehicle with the local agency in Antigua! I was furious but they basically said-if you book online tough luck...

So- I'm now stuck with a smaller vehicle and I will never use Hertz agaian. I have the corporate number in NJ and will call Monday ...This is what I would expect from some local yocal agency but not Hertz. Motto of the story here is call directly and confirm .
