We took a cab ride from the pier to boatyard beach. The taxi runs about 3-4 dollares a person. When we got there the taxi driver told us that every beach in Barbados is a public beach and you dont have to pay to get in. There is an entrance where you can pay 10-15 dollares a person and you get chairs and a drink. There is a sign for the public access, its only a couple of feet behind the entrance where you pay. We did not have any problems. We didnt get chairs and only stayed a little while.

Hey Jerseygril02!

I just got done reading your excellent review. We to are doing the boatyard but I would like to know a little more about the water taxi in St. Kitts. Where do you catch the water taxi, which beach did you go to, and what was the cost? Any other input would be appreciated. Thanks!
