wlfarm Posted February 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2008 Does the Maitre D' set up a certain time on Embarkation day so that you can make seating changes? Specifically, I would like to change to a table for 2 at traditional dinner(early) seating. Thanks
vplsh Posted February 11, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2008 Head down to the main dining room as early as you can. We generally go before we have lunch at the buffet and make any changes necessary.
Pam in CA Posted February 11, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2008 Usually, the Maitre D is in one of the dining rooms the first day from about 1PM on. However, on some ships, he's been in Sabatinis or even had a crew member at a table in the photography area. Check the dining rooms first and if he's not there, ask where he is. SueM. Posted February 11, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2008 Check the Patters which should be in your cabin and it will tell you where the Dining Room Inquirey Desk will be and what time. sue
sultan_sfo Posted February 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Will not be easy to switch to a table for 2 at early traditional! Table number is printed on your card and so the other couple will have to be switched. That can create a ruckus. If Maitre D cannot switch tables, skip the first evening in traditional and try Anytime "early" and explain that you are willing to give up traditional if you can get a table for 2 in Anytime. If you luck out (early early dining in Anytime is easier to get) book that.
