TTCruiser Posted February 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Hey everyone! I will be spending the day in Barbados (cruise ship) for the first time and was hoping I could get some suggestions on what it is I'm looking to do. In a nutshell, I'm looking for a beach that has some nice scenery, a good reef to snorkel and a good local beach bar to grab some beers, frozen drinks and good food! Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance! Jeff

woodofpine Posted February 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Party Beach = Boatyard adjacent downtown Bridgtown. Nice Beach (less party) with drinks, food, big strand = Brandons/Malibu or a number of others... But better snorkling is elsewhere A do it right day FOR SURE. http://www.coolrunningsbarbados.com Do their 5 hour snorkle, food and drink cruise (great boat and Bajan crew) then IF you have anything left in you, skip CR's van return to pier (included) and walk 5 minutes from the marina pier over the bridge of Bridgetown (seeing Independence Square in the capital center) to Boatyard beach for another dip then snag a cab back to the cruise terminal. The foregoing is a primo day in Barbados.
