cruisin'bulldog Posted February 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Hi: Does anyone know if NCL offers any golf excursions in either Grand Cayman or Cozumel. I have been browsing the website and I have not been able to find any. I know that Grand Cayman is supposed to have some great golf courses and it would be a shame to stop there and not be able to play. Thanks for any help you can give. caspmorn Posted February 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I don't know if NCL offers golf in Cozumel, but I have played there and can give you a head's up. There is one course, about 3 miles north of the dock. It is Cozumel Country Club - http://www.cozumelcountryclub.com.mx/. I have played it 6 times, and it is a very nice course. The holes are cut out of the jungle. There are only a few holes where you can see another hole. I stayed at an all-inclusive (Melia Cozumel), so it only cost me $25 to play in addition to my room rate. The regular greens fees are $149, but you might be able to get a deal. If I were you, I would call the Melia Cozumel, and tell them you are on a cruise and want to play golf. They may give you a tour (sales pitch) in exchange for golf. cruisin'bulldog Posted February 20, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Thanks for the suggestion. Do you suppose there is there any way to arrange transportation from the pier to the course?
