Since we're in the more forward cabin the door will be opened onto our balcony and that is just fine. Great even. It is dh's bil and his wife,s 2nd cruise and their 1st balcony.

 

thanks for all the good info you've given me it makes me even more excited about the cruise. I'm hoping that since we are are near the bow and not too high up we'll see dolpins racing with the ship.

We were on the Pride when it was at Port Canaveral. We had an aft balcony on deck 8--our 1st balcony. Although other people just love them, we also prefer a side balcony. More shade and breeeze.
