Funship dollars

I ordered funship dollars 2 days ago had them add to my booking # (not mail them)they charged my credit card but carnival agent doesn't see it with booking# and the bon voyage office is closed--did anyone have similar experience?

Give it a couple more days. It has always worked for me. I did multiple

funship dollar purchases for Paradise and Elation. Someimes it takes a few days...

 

I would only charge this to a check card becuse you can just use a credit card when you get on the ship anyway... (unless this is a gift?)

May I ask why purchase Funship dollars and have it go directly to your booking. Why not just make a payment. I don't see the advantage and wonder if there is a reason to do that I'm not aware of?

You just apply the amount to your S&S account ahead of time... it works the same way as just calling and applying money to your account.

I just did this on Carnivals web site. I just ordered fun ship dollars online. My trip is paid in full and want to have the money set aside so I will have plenty of money to spend on the cruise without using credit card. I order fun ship dollars and instead of my mailing address I put booking #. It takes about a week for the to catch up and I get two email, one saying I ordered and then about a week later an email saying they are credited to my account and then taken off of my bank card. I do this so I don't have to stress over having to come up with lot's of money at the end. I don't over spend this way. Works for us.:cool:
