We went there but you can't use their beaches unless you are staying there or at the Comfort Suites. You need a pass to roam around most of the grounds. Well, for a couple of reasons, you can get up to four passes into Atlantis, which includes; The Dig, the beach and the water park, saving some money if you can get a decent rate at the hotel. I think the excursion for the whole day is $149 per person. We only paid $220 for the room. We really were lucky with great weather and mellow seas!! Temps in NYC in the 40's so not too bad. We also got back almost 2 hours early! Did you do that before you got on the ship or did you do it from the ship. That sounds like a great idea and we definitely want to explore Atlantis. travelgurl Posted March 2, 2008 Author #33 Share Posted March 2, 2008 We booked a room at Comfort Suites using the following internet link: http://www.smartertravel.com/discoun....html?id=16348 click on the link that says "simply click here" once you're in that site. It will allow you to book a room at a discount at Comfort Suites next to Atlantis and you get full privileges at Atlantis for up to four people. My rate is $220 including tax. For each additional person it is about $50 (I asked) and you can get up to 4 passes. They will give each person a card stating you paid which you take to one of the "Towel Huts" at pool area of Atlantis. There you will get wrist bands. The woman barely looked at the card, returned it to us and put on our wrist bands. We booked it a couple of weeks before we went.
