Catamaran question

Can anybody tell me how steady catamarans are. I am very motion sick, but would love to go on a catarmaran, but am afraid to be out in the ocean for three hours if there is a chance of getting motion sickness. I know I can take meds, but just curious how steady these catamarans are. Thanks so much for any info anybody can give me.

We did a catamaran in Mexico last year with friends. One of them did not mention that she was prone to sea sickness before hand unfortunently. I was a terrible trip for her. Even though she took Bonine before hand she was sick (very sick) the entire time. It was quite choppy so the ship bounced quite a bit. Catamarans ride the waves, up and down, not over the waves so the trip can be fun if you like roller coasters. I would not do a catamaran again with some who gets sea sick.
