Princess with 9 yr. old during school

You always going to find kids on the bigger ships, especially to the Mexican Riviera - lots of families.

 

They will always have the kids club open, the only ones that have a requirement for a minimum number of kids to be onboard are the small ships - Royal, Tahitian and Island Princess.

 

She'll have a great time. Also, you are cruising around Thanksgiving, so you can be sure to have kids onboard.

My kids actually preferred the kids club on Princess when there were fewer kids on board (we homeschool, and often travel during the "off" season). Our last 2 cruises have been during holiday periods, and the kids/teen activities were too crowded and impersonal for their tastes.
