seven day cruises seem to be longest - ideally would have liked a few more days - anyone done this cruise and stayed on somewhere for a few days afterwards?

You could get off the ship at the last port of call and stay on the island for a few days before flying home.

 

I know of several people who had departed their cruise in Cozumel. In fact, a friend of mine who lives on Cozumel has taken cruises that stopped there so she could move heavy items home from the US.
