How costly are the Cabs in Hawaii?

We paid $25 last week to go from the pier to the airport. We were ending our Pride of Aloha cruise and there were tons of people and luggage. We had talk to some who were waiting for their friends to come back with the rental car(they would only take the driver) - had been waiting two hours so we decided not to bother with the shuttle and just got a cab - very fast. We also paid $10 from Diamond Head to Waikiki. Hope this helps.
