Do we get air deviation?

We are having family for New Years, and do not have the ability to leave a day earlier. Should I try and get air deviation to make sure we are on the first flight out of NJ on the day of the cruise?

I would wait and see what they give you. It may be the first flight already if it is the cheapest. They seem to like red eyes now. Phone 60 days out and find out what flights you have. Along with deviation you also have to pay the difference for the flights.

Or you may want to check out how much the flights are and cancel the air with the cruiseline if you can get that flight cheaper. How is the weather in NJ in winter. If for any reason your flight is delayed with the cruiseline they will foot the bill to get you to the ship on next available. On your own booking you are the one who has to foot the extra bill (or your insurance).
