lsl08 Posted March 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2008 I am going to book a July cruise on the Norwegian sun in Alaska and have been given a list of balcony cabins. Does anyone know about the cabins and whether one is better than the other - size, view, obstructed view etc. Cabins: Norway deck 0060, 0061, 0062, 0063, (Aft) 0203, 0204 (forward) Any advice would be helpful. :)
GrandpaGrouch Posted March 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Any of the rooms you mentioned are un-obstructed views. All are the same size. We were on the Sun last August in Alaska on the same deck. You won't be disappointed. In 3 weeks we will be on the Sun again, Room 0040, going on the Western Carribbean Cruise. These are "BA" balcony cabins, the best of the class. The next step up is Mini-Suite. Al Weber
isles1 Posted March 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2008 BB are the same size as BA, just one deck lower, but you have staterooms above and below you. I think the pool deck is above the BA rooms. Just food for thought...
KT32 Posted March 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2008 We were in a BA category back in December and yes we could hear the entertainment on the pool deck during the day. It wasn't really an issue as most of the time we were out and about at the same time, but if you like to nap during the afternoon, it could be an issue. cassrebecca Posted March 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Last week I was on the Sun BA cabin Forward 0001. Had cabins above me and below me no sounds except the ocean when the balcony door was open!! We loved it!! Happy cruising...
livinglife Posted March 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2013 We will be in 0204 for an Alaska cruise in May. Will let you know. We always try to stay forward and on upper decks.
