travgurl Posted March 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Alright, which one should my family members pick for the day on Friday? Need help to decide. If they choose the Wyndham/Sheraton, how do they get there?
umpalumpa14588 Posted March 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2008 BCH is within walking distance of the ship, with a $15 fee for the day. You can have access to their pool, beach, etc. That is where we are going when we get there!
littleone9699 Posted March 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2008 How do you get to BCH? Can you see it from the ship? I'm looking for something for us to do with our boys (12 & 9) and since we will only be there for a few hours, this sounds perfect!!!

NJBill Posted March 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2008 Two blocks past the BCH is a free beach we visit each year. Nothing fancy but same water you are paying $$ to swin in. If you look at the photo the BCH is the building with the Orange roof. You will see a retaining wall sticking out into the water where the free beach starts. BCH is fine, but the beach in that area won't blow you away. Same water as where the ships dock and water not as clean. He advised that Cable Beach is much nicer. notnow Posted March 10, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 10, 2008 The Wyndham pool has a slide that can entertain the kids for a long time. If it is the same as last year, you can use some other really beautiful pools at the Sheraton and a beautiful beach. The BC is nice but seems more adult To get to the Wyndham, you could walk into town and take the jitney for $1 per person and enjoy the 20 or so minute ride along the water. Places to eat may be more limited once you get away from downtown, but you can get food by the pool or a pizza inside the hotel.
