Taxi to Trudeau Airport (YUL)

Trying to plan my currency exchange--About how much should a taxi ride cost from the Port in Montreal to the Airport? And about how long should it take to get there on a Saturday morning? Thanks for the info.

Fixed rate, taxes included of $34.75 (it was $35 but the taxes went down and so did the price).

 

The trip to YUL is just over 20km and should take about 30 minutes. If there is no traffic it's possible to make it in 25 minutes, but not legally, since the highways downtown are all 70 km/h zones.

 

There should be relatively no traffic on a Saturday morning. The traffic problem is only in the afternoon on weekdays since the highway has a ramp to the Mercier Bridge. Montreal, being an island, gets choked at the bridges at night.

Can you tell me if there are any van taxi at the airport? We are a group arriving on a Sunday evening and need to get all 5 of us plus lots of luggage to Hotel Nelligan.

Not that I know of. I have never seen a van taxi in Montreal. In fact, I don't know if I have ever seen a minivan taxi, though I am told that there are a few. The limousine service is $50. No reservation is needed, there is a desk at the airport that will help you find the right taxi or a limousine instead.
