CBussey64 Posted April 11, 2008 Author #127 Share Posted April 11, 2008 Thanks for the great review... people like you are what makes cruise critic so wonderful. Loved the tone of your vacation from beginning to end... outstanding! Thanks for all the pics and the honesty from which you wrote... now get back out there and cruise!!p.s. I was touched by the Zune in the ears method, well done... also, i had no idea that there were AA meetings to attend on board...Kudos to your DH... Thanks to Cruise Critic I knew there were, but he went to the Pursers Desk and asked himself. I was and am very proud of him. He's just shy of 3 years sobriety!!!! MustardMan Posted April 11, 2008 #128 Share Posted April 11, 2008 Connie, I loved your review and the fact it took so long was a GOOD thing! I got to to keep reliving all the fun we had! You should have came and found us on Saturday (when Robert was sick!) instead of wandering about aimlessly. Actually, we all looked that way bouncing around the ship on Saturday! I remember I was walking into the Follies and the step I was going to step on next moved when the ship did and I would up on the same one I started on! that was a WILD day at sea! CBussey64 Posted April 11, 2008 Author #129 Share Posted April 11, 2008 I really wish that I had been hungry to try any of this. It all looked so good but I was exhausted and stuffed from dinner. Next time, I WILL!!! That roasted eggplant and red peppers is making me salivate right now ...
uenvyme454 Posted April 11, 2008 #130 Share Posted April 11, 2008 Just a quick question about your excersion in Roatan. This is the same one my husband and I were thinking of doing. Do you get to stay at the park after you tour is over? How long? Do you take a bus back at a set time or do they have several that leave at different times? Thank you for the great review. I've been waiting to finish reading it all week. The pictures are amazing.

I went to the debarkation talk and darn near hurled and left (easier to watch on tv later). I wish I had hunted y'all down, too. Would've been alot more fun!!!! Hopefully we will cruise together again one day, you guys are great!!!!

Do you get to stay at the park after you tour is over? How long? Do you take a bus back at a set time or do they have several that leave at different times?Thank you for the great review. I've been waiting to finish reading it all week. The pictures are amazing. They tell you when the last bus leaves, and that's what we did, was take the last one out. Spent the day enjoying the beach, and if we had taken the later excursion, we wouldn't have had much time on the beach, so go early. You won't be disappointed. You can also watch them zip line right there as well.

I remember after my first cruise knowing that I would be doing it again and again. It's still my favorite vacation choice.

And spend as much time as you need.

MustardMan Posted April 11, 2008 #142 Share Posted April 11, 2008 I bet that gave you all a deep, warm, fuzzy feeling that you've never felt before huh? :D !!!! All I thought was "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore!" We were all just grateful our driver stopped like a good boy at the check point even when we were running late getting back after hearing the consequences. Let's see.... miss the ship or get shot - not a difficult choice in my book! And, I saw the guys standing there with the machine guns when we went by at the end! I think the guys trigger finger was twitching too!

CBussey64 Posted April 11, 2008 Author #146 Share Posted April 11, 2008 Ample shelving for storage. Same on left side of mirror. OH ... and here's a tip ... the hairdryer they provided ... actually was better than mine. Next time, leaving mine at home. BUT DO bring a power strip. Would've been lost w/out ours.
