lh9789 Posted March 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2008 I'd like to see some photos of people posing in some fun, imaginative ways while in port or on excursion. Photos that show waterfalls, the Eiffel Tower, the Little Mermaid statue, 7 Mile Beach, you name the sight--but also have a subject who is not just standing there smiling, arms down. Photos that show "I was there!" but that have some LIFE to them. Anybody know what I mean? I need some inspiration, please!
sondrad Posted March 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2008 I'm afraid that we don't have that many. If our arms aren't by our side than we're holding drinks. :p Here are some from our Alaskan cruise. Do these count?

Antioch Cruiser Posted March 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2008 My Favorite from Hawaii. I'm from the east and my wife is from the west. Had to take this picture. From Maui. Captain Kirk giving the thumbs up. Liars Camp in Skagway. Wife and Sister in Law At the Red Onion Saloon in Skagway. There was a certain Mayor there too. Only problem with this shot is my wife was taking the picture. Busted. In Gibraltar a monkey posed for us. Have many more. Can post them all! lh9789 Posted March 16, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Awww, aren't you all cute?! Happy travelers having fun--you make me smile. Cruiselovarandagent---That Pisa picture is TRULY inspired!!! So that's a good tip: play with perspective in your photos--I'll have to remember that. It certainly makes a great photo. I'll be going to see Stonehenge soon, maybe I can do something like that there...I really dont want the same me-in-front-of-monument look over and over in my photos. I do have a plan to go to that crosswalk in London where the Beatles shot their Abbey Road album cover and we will pose walking across it in big, arm-swinging strides. I guess so many people do that, there's a web-cam there now, in front of Abbey Road Studios.
