pool time on canada cruise

Recommended Posts

going on new england/canada cruise on july 3rd. would like to know if we will be able to get some pool time or will it be too cold?

By July 3rd the land temperatures should be in the high 70's and low 80's-------if it is not foggy. Even if the day starts off foggy it usually burns off by noon and the day becomes warm. If you are in port you should have no problem swimming. I can't speak to the at sea temperatures in the St. Lawrence River or off PEI, but I can say from sailing experience in small boats that in the Bay of Fundy area, even though it may be very warm on land, it us usually quite cold at sea. You would not be comfortable in the aft pool, but may be OK sheltered from the wind in the glass enclosed area.

Bring ice skates and a parka and go skating on the ice instead.

Just kidding. It's warm in the summer in Canada. You should bring some antiperspirant. It's humid too.
