We are booked into Cat BE and offer choice of Emerald, Dolphin or Caribe deck. We would love to hear the pros (or cons) which deck has the best view when transiting through the locks of the Panama Canal.

We were on the Coral (sister ship) on Caribe deck. Doesn't matter which balcony cabin or which side of ship. The ship obviously goes up and down as they raise and lower the water. Best viewng is the front of the ship thru the crew only doors. They let you go thru them on that day only. And of course the aft public balconies.
