What is the difference between Princess/Royal Caribbean?

What is different between the lines in terms of entertainment and activities?

Or how about dining options other than the main dining room. Does Princess have a "Windjammer" place like RCI? What about other dining options? Are there specialty restaurants at all? Anything like a Johnny Rockets?

Hi,

 

I will be going on my first Princess cruise in Nov. I have been on 2 RCCL cruises and 1 Celebrity cruise.

 

There are specialty restaurants on Princess - Sabatinis (Italian and, I've been told, excellent food) and I believe, a steakhouse. also there is a buffet (my guess is similar to Windjammer).

 

A friend of mine was on the Crown Princess last summer (the ship we will be sailing on in Nov). She has also sailed on RCCL. The Crown has several pools which are spread out on the Lido deck as well as pools on another deck or two. Therefore, less crowding.
