Valor 3/9 – CC Meeting – What Happened?

Just off the Valor and Understood that all CC’ers were going to meet at 2:30 on Monday at the rear Lido deck bar? I was there and did not see any anyone else. Bar tender never heard of Cruse Critic?

There are a lot of people who have never heard of CC. lol! Go to your roll call and post on there and see what happened. A lot of the time people on roll calls post on there after they get back. Hope you had fun anyway!

Depends on the size of the roll call you had... We always have a party on the first day, on the lido, and most can recognize us by our tshirts for the group... but it's not at a particular time, because most people get on a ship and do their own thing, they are too busy having fun with their family and friends to even remember to go and meet their "internet friends". We just say "Party on the lido deck around the midship pool after embarkation" and people come and go as they please. If you try to nail down a time on the first day, you will generally have a low turnout. Make it easier for people and you will have a better turnout.

 

Question though... why would you expect the bartender to know about Cruise Critic?

On our Roll Call, we all agreed to meet at the Lido deck, after we sailed from the first port. But no one showed. I asked the bartenders to see if anyone else had inquired?

lido deck is pretty large. Was there a specific place on the lido deck? I would go back to the roll call. My recent sensation cruise we agreed to meet at a table outside the casino and one ccer had a sign made but the problem was that there were no tables so apparently we were all walking back and forth looking for each other in that area and never found one another so that was that. I ended up meeting one of them in the casino but none of the others. It has to be planned better I suppose.

I got tied up with family and forgot about the meet until about 4:30. By then I figured it was too late. Funny thing, except for that day, we all hung at the first table by the Prometheus Bar. We called it "the office."

Sorry I missed the meet. I have gone to others where nobody showed and others where everyone showed. You never know.

We also got tied up on Monday after we got back on the ship. We were doing something with the kids and the next thing I know it was 5:00pm. Sorry about that. Hope you had a great cruise, I know we all did
