Grimsby Posted March 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2008 We were in Grenada in late February, and because I could not get a cell phone signal, I decided to check my voice mail for messages using the pay phones in the cruise ship terminal. It's quite convenient. All you need to do is insert a valid credit card and follow the instructions printed on the telephone. To-day I received my credit card statement. For no more than 2 minutes of use, (there were no voice messages), I was charged $34.16. I should have become suspicious when I couldn't find any rates posted. I suspect that Grenada is not the only location that this company has installed this "license to print money" so be warned as you travel throughout the Caribbean.
