Platinum Cruisers - Is Your Room Ready Upon Embarkation?

Perhaps my cabin has always been ready in advance, and perhaps not. I don't have a clue. I've just made it my own personal decision to wait until the time written on the embarkation sheet, or until they make the PA announcement for everyone.

My carry-on bag is kept to a bare minimum, so I don't mind taking it up with me to grab a bite of lunch.

This is my point everything received at embarkation states the rooms will not be ready until 1:30 PM. Only on this board is it "unofficially" OK to go to your room early if your platinum.

A crew member on board told me that it's OK to save as many pool lounge chairs as you want if your platinum:D but of course it's unofficial.
