Yapta??

We are starting to look for flights to South America (we have just passed the 330 day limit) and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for getting a good fare.

My husband is not great on long haul flights so we are thinking of going YYZ-MIA-EZE, then SCL- MIA -YYZ in Feb 09. What should I expect from YAPTA? Any better than side-step or those sites that let you compare? Will it track from a Canadian airport??

He is anxious to get the flight booked - I am willing to wait a bit if i thought we could get a flight under $2500 for the two of us!!

Thanks for any help.

Dot

I wouldn't use Yapta to search for air fares, as a number of airlines are not included in their system. (Plus, I think you must specify the carrier in advance.) In terms of tracking fares over time, they will do it (currently) for international destinations, but only on "domestic" carriers. To them, "domestic" means US. It's not clear whether they would include "domestic" carriers leaving from a Canadian airport. That might require contacting them unless someone else responds with an answer.
