beach410 Posted March 25, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted March 25, 2008 OK, thanks, I noticed this last night for the first time and thought maybe it was just my reservation.
clairebelle Posted March 25, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2008 We got an error message about our cabin having too many people in it. I called Carnival and they said it was an issue with the site. Hopefully, they will sort it out so I can print my stuff...we leave in less than 2 weeks!
misssea Posted March 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2008 I am hoping they work it out soon too. I printed off my documents but can't seem to find them. I leave in 4 days!
DGP1111 Posted March 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 25, 2008 This has been intermittently (more off than on) for three or four days. Carnival's site is having issues. Peaceful, you are always too kind. :) :) It started last Wednesday, so it's going on a full week.:( I'm thinking CCL's website now qualifies for one of the handicapped spaces in the Internet parking lot. :D
DGP1111 Posted March 29, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 29, 2008 Called CCL this morning to request info that can't currently be researched on their web site, and was advised by "cruise specialist", John, that all of the known problems have been fixed on the site. I advised there were still some problems with the FunPass section, as well as the booking screens for at least two ships. He suggested I try a different computer since there were no continued issued with the site. So I simply said, "Fine, let's try your computer". I asked if he had access to the web site as used by the general population, and he said he did. I had him check on two separate ships, and he got the same failure that everyone else has experienced for more than a week. He actually had the guts to say it must be something new, since it has been working fine. As foolish as this guy is, I give him sincere kudos for not hesitating a second to give the "corporate spin". He was slick. Dumb, but slick. I still have a FunPass which, in the records, lists me as a diabetic from Uraguay who is celebrating an anniversary while onboard. Using John's theory, it must have been an input error on my part. That'll teach me not to keep a glass of wine wine near the computer while I'm on it. :D

The last thing I want is to become a vegan from Venezuela celebrating a victory! Maybe I just better forget the whole thing and keep the wine.
