CowPrincess Posted March 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2008 A separate thread for this, as a number of people seem to have similar questions in various threads. With "search" not working, perhaps having this thread will help. This link is to a specific page for Canada Immigration http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/conviction.asp regarding overcoming criminal inadmissability. It is GENERAL info only, and as suggested on the page, contacting a Canadian consulate or embassy in advance of travelling to Canada is strongly suggested. I've recently had to deal with the Canadian Government (NOT on immigration and/or felonies) and have found them surprisingly accessible. A huge change since the 1980s and 1990s!
