Food near Sheraton OSJ??

We are staying at the Sheraton in Old San Juan before a cruise, about 20 of us, and were wondering if there are any fast food restaurants or other cheap restaurants in the area. The professors don't want to walk very far.

 

Also are there grocery stores near the Sheraton within walking distance? We are renting cars, but prefer not to use them as much as possible.

There are a few places at the Sheraton and just a bit east of it. A place called Mofongos is close by, good local food and inexpensive. There are also lots of Fast Food places like McDonalds and Pizza HUt around- all a few blocks away.

There is a Supermax supermarket a few blocks NW- on Cruz St - at the Plaza de Armas.

 

Ask for exact directions at the hotel or just walk around and see what suits your mood.
