pook Posted March 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2008 We are sailing this Saturday on the Triumph with our 3 children - ages 2, 6 and 9. We have sailed several times before but we are never sure how much to tip the people that work in the children's program. For those of you with children that participate in Camp Carnival, I am curious if you tip the camp counselors and if so, how much do you usually tip? Thanks... gazingm42 Posted March 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Depending on the camp that week we normally tip about 25 - 40 per child for the week. Depends on the camp crew that week. We have had some that have really done a awesome job and we make sure they are tipped correctly.
FunForTheFamily Posted March 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2008 We just got off the Victory, 1 of our children went to camp for a couple hours nearly everyday (he never wanted to leave) so I figured since the room steward got like 3.50 a day, they should get at least 5.00 - so for a 7 day we tipped 35.00 for the 1 child and 10.00 for the other (he went 2 times).... This was for a 2yr old and 4yr old (the 4yr old went almost daily)
stsomewhere Posted March 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Our kids 7 and 9 usually went for the group babysitting. Sometimes they would go for an hour or two after dinner. We tipped $25 for the week. They had gotten 0ver $300 in babysitting fees. This was the only time they were allowed to play video games. So , they did not want to leave.
