Island Princess B-229 or C-727

We are cruising (honeymoon) on the Island Princess through the Panama Canal in December. Trying to decide between cabins B-229 or C-727. I know C-727 is the back. Also, B-229 is "covered." Is either one larger than the other? Different size balcony or room? Any advice is appreciated.

The room sizes are the same.

B229 is a fully covered balcony in the forward section of the ship, in which you may feel more movement.

C727 is completely uncovered and has a wraparound balcony that will allow you a view both side and aft.

Less privacy in C727 (you can be seen from overhead) but you will have a great view.

It's really a personal choice. Click on following link and look at Photo D showing the aft of the ship. C728 is directly below the fellow standing at the railing on the port side. C727 is the same cabin but on the other (starboard) side.

Hope this helps.
