swimgirl1 Posted March 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2008 I am wondering if there is a shuttle that goes to 7 Mile Beach, if so where do you catch it in relation to the pier? How much?

sdirector77 Posted March 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2008 I beleive there is a bus service you can use, google Grand Cayman and you should be able to locate the info. I have not used the bus as the cabs were reasonable.
VaBeachCruiser Posted March 31, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2008 We were in Cayman on Wednesday and had to quickly make a new plan since all stingray tours were cancelled due to rough seas. The buses take you right from where your tender drops you off to a few different sights on 7 mile beach--4 or 5 dollars per person depending on how far you go. When you are ready to leave you just head back out to the street where you were dropped off and the vans come by every 5-10 minutes. Very simple and we are not "seasoned cruisers". Sand_Sun_Sea73 Posted March 31, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 31, 2008 I can 2nd that. We were there on Wednesday looking for a "plan B" also and took a shuttle to 7 mile beach. We caught a vw type van / cab that held about 10 to 12 people right across the street from the pier in a shopping plaza. It was $4.00 per person and they dropped us off at Royal Palms along 7mb. It was a nice stress free day. Food and drinks were not cheap, but they were good! They technically charge you $5.00 for a lounger chair, but when we arrived we just sat down on chairs and no one asked as for $5.00. A couple of hours later I noticed the sign that said $5.00 and saw that they were charging people as they arrived. So apparently the person charging wasn't "manning his post" when we got there?
